Archival Structure Two – Snub Cuboctahedron

5’x 5’x 5’. Mixed media, clear packing tape. 2005.

A hollow spheroid composed of 45 shallow triangular boxes. Each box is made from boxboard resulting from my personal consumption between the years 1994 and 1998. As a rule, I keep anything that cannot be recycled in my neighborhood. 1993 to 2002 was a period of time during which I lived in neighborhoods that did not recycle boxboard curbside.
